• In early 2006, the Monroe County Fire Chief's conducted a raffle to raise funds for fire departments
  in Louisiana that suffered damage from hurricane Katrina. Those funds ($3,439.21) where sent to the Franklinton Volunteer Fire Department in Louisiana.
