Volunteer firefighters at Bloomington Township Fire Department not only fight fire, they can perform a wide variety of activities aimed at community service.

Flashover Training Bloomington Township Fire Department maintains and operates a swede survival flashover chamber. This class is observing the beginning of a flashover in the chamber. To tour the training field click here
Engine 51 Engine 51 is the department's newest apparatus. Purchased in 2010 Engine 51 is a Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) Engine. Tour all of our apparatus on the Apparatus page.
